Here is the pattern chosen for the Bible studies. Note that there might be
more than one study per topic. A. Assurance of Salvation (How
to Know Christ Is in Your Life)
Students understand that Christ has come into their lives and
that they can have assurance that Christ will never leave them.
B. Salvation Significance (The Way We
Were vs. the Way We Are)
Students understand in greater detail the scope and
significance of what occurred when they invited Christ into their lives which hopefully
will produce a deeper commitment and a great motivation for them to go on in their walk
with Christ.
C. Understanding Sin (Experiencing God's Love and
Forgiveness)
Student understand the significance of their sin and God's
love and forgiveness.
D. Holy Spirit (The Holy Spirit? What
Does He Do? and Living like a Christian)
Here students gain a basic understanding of and begin to
apply the ministry of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
E. Identity in Christ (Your Identity in Christ)
Students are given a basic understanding of their new
identity in Christ and the struggle that exists between their old nature and their new
nature.
F. Basic Growth Principles (The Wheel Illustration and
Growing as a Christian)
These two studies deal with basic growth principles and
disciplines, as well as making students aware of the beneficial influences of time,
adversity, and the sovereignty of God as they relate to spiritual growth.
G. The Word (Just the Facts, Please! and Word/Hand
Illustration)
These two studies give students a basic understanding of what
the Bible is, how to begin reading it, and the importance of studying and meditating on
the scriptures.
H. Fellowship (Fellowship Time with Christians)
Students learn the importance of Christian fellowship and are
encouraged to begin attending Christian functions.
I. Prayer (Prayer - Talking with God)
Encouraging students how to pray, what to pray, and what to
expect from God when they pray.
J. Witnessing (Tell It Like This!)
This study contains a motivation to share their faith, how to
begin sharing their faith, and encourages students to identify people they can target for
evangelism.
K. Spiritual Warfare (Dealing with Difficulties and Running and
Resisting)
These two studies deal with overcoming and identifying
problem areas for Christians such as the world, temptation, and the devil.
L. Time Management (Making the Most of Your Time)
Encourages students to learn how to set priorities and goals
in order to properly schedule their time to achieve their priorities and goals.
M. Vision (God's View for Your Life and God's Plan for Your
Life )
Students gain a basic understanding of how God views the
world, how God wants to use them, and how they need to live accordingly.
N. The Church (What's the BIG Deal?)
Students gain a basic Biblical view of the church and why
they should be involved.
